Questions We Get Every Day
Is window tint legal in California?
Yes, with rules. Front side windows must let 70%+ of light through; rear side windows and the back glass can be any darkness. Our 70% ceramic film is front-window legal, and we'll set you up with a combo that looks right and keeps you out of fix-it-ticket territory.
Will it bubble or turn purple?
That's what happens to cheap dyed film installed in a driveway. Ceramic film doesn't fade purple, and our computer-cut, in-shop install means no bubbles, no gaps, no razor marks.
How long does the install take?
Most vehicles are in and out the same day, usually 2 to 4 hours depending on the vehicle and whether we're removing old film. We'll give you exact timing with your quote.
What's the difference between ceramic and standard film?
Heat. Both look great and block UV, but ceramic film rejects the infrared heat that actually makes your car hot inside. In the Central Valley, that difference is the whole game; it's why our New Car Package is ceramic.
Do I need to do anything after?
Leave the windows up for 2 to 3 days while the film cures. A little haze or a few tiny water pockets in the first days are normal and disappear as it dries. We'll walk you through it at pickup.
Can you remove my old, bubbled tint?
Yes, we remove old film and adhesive properly (including over rear defroster lines) before installing new. We'll quote removal upfront so there are no surprises.
